After accumulating just five wins in two seasons Notre Dame football returned to glory last year with a 7-3 record under head coach Marc Lodi. In 2019 Notre Dame will have some new faces joining the mix as 6’4 Junior Jake Renda takes over for West Point commit Robbie Buecker at quarterback while interim head coach Sean Clancy will be calling the shots on game day. The Irish will have four year varsity starters Cortaz and Coleon Williams returning at running back for their senior seasons. Cortaz eclipsed the 3,000 career rushing yard mark in 2018 and is on pace to break 4,000 this year.
