Triton 4 Delsea 3 | Boys

The Mustangs led 2-0 at the half before falling behind 3-2 late in the second half. Max Hawk and Ryan Gale then came through in the clutch to give Triton a wild win to start the season. Gale finished the day with two goals. Gabe Smith had a pair of goals for the Crusaders, while Landon Burns also scored for Delsea in the loss.

Hopewell Valley 5 Allentown 2 | Girls

Opening day for Girls Soccer in the Colonial Valley Conference saw two of the Valley Division’s best going at it. Reigning Central West B Champions, Hopewell Valley faced off with Allentown, the Red Birds lost the match up last year. The Bulldogs would take a 2-1 lead at halftime off goals from Lara Paoloni and Sarah Yancey. Hopewell would score three times in the second half.

Wall 4 Red Bank Regional 0 | Girls

Four different Knights found the net in an impressive opening game road victory. Rory Paris started the scoring followed by Carolyn Scenna to give Wall a 2-0 lead at the half.
