Check back as the highlights are posted throughout the night!

Paul VI 6 Eastern 2 | Girls

The second-ranked Eagles showed no signs of rust as they rolled to a convincing win over the 20th-ranked Vikings to open the season. North Carolina lacrosse commit Emma McCarthy led the way with a pair of goals and an assist in the victory. Hunter Kintzing went for a goal and two assists, while Eleanor Lawyer had a goal and an assists for Paul VI (1-0). Ainsley Hauber and Charli Aumiller scored in the loss for Eastern (0-1).

JSZ’s James Mooney has the highlights from Haddonfield:

Red Bank Catholic 3 Rumson-Fair Haven 0 | Girls

Kaegan Houlihan scored just 23 seconds into the second half to break a scoreless tie and the Caseys added two more goals to open the 2025 season with a quality win over an RFH team that won 15 games a year ago.  Brelin Menezes scored in the 50th minute and University of Maryland commit Paige Foye closed out the scoring.

JSZ’s Rich Chrampanis has the highlights from Red Bank:

Hopewell Valley 3 Hun 0 | Boys

The Bulldogs made a statement win over Hun on the back of a monster game from goalkeeper Kaempfer Harjes. The sophomore recorded 14 saves (some you may see in this weeks JSZ Top 10) in a lockdown performance. Hopewell Valley also got a spark from its youth, with freshman Andrew Young netting the first goal of the season in his high school debut.

JSZ’s Tyler Mroz has the highlights + reaction from Pennington:
