Philip Sayouwoh was once against the Marauders’ hero Wednesday night after scoring the lone goal in a great game between two huge Hudson County rivals. Sayouwoh’s header late in the second half was the deciding goal in this game for St. Peter’s Prep (2-0). Kearny (2-1), is coming off a trip to the Group 4 state final and are still figuring out this year’s team.

The Silver Knights used a three-goal surge in the first half to knock off the Eagles and vault into first place in the Colonial Conference Liberty Division. Jason Camardo, Anthony Ortiz-Torrecilla, and Carson Wiley all found the back of the net in the victory. Travis Schmid racked up nine save in net for Sterling (4-0). Nick Hartman scored on a penalty kick for his sixth goal of the season in the loss for West Deptford (3-2).
