St. Benedict’s Prep 5 Hill School (PA) 1
After a rare 1-0 victory last week, St. Benedict’s Prep got back to their scoring ways with a five-goal outburst against Pennsylvania prep team Hill School. Thiago Quintanhila, Peter Yaro, Hyunjun Sun, Tony Yeboah and Jamar Ricketts all found the back of the net for the Gray Bees. The win marked their 42nd consecutive victory.

The Mustangs sent an early-season message to the Red Raiders, knocking off the defending Cape Atlantic League champions. Devon Ford opened the scoring with a bicycle kick early in the first half. Nick Bozzi added a second half goal off an assist from Ford. Zach Matik earned the clean sheet in net for Mainland.

Jackson Memorial 2 Howell 1 (OT) – Girls Soccer
Natalie Knauf took a feed from Lydsi Beal and delivered a blast from six-yards out to score the Golden Goal and give Jackson Memorial its fifth straight win. The Jags took a 1-0 lead in the first half after a Lauren Dellegrippo score. Howell drew even in the 78th minute thanks to a Julianna Caccamo tally. Brooke McKown had 12 saves in the victory.
