Public sectional championships were up for grabs on Wednesday, and JSZ has highlights from three games for you!

Westfield 10 Ridgewood 9 (OT) | Boys | North Group 4 Final

Colin Coyle’s fourth goal of the game in overtime gave Westfield a section championship for the first time in 10 years.  The Blue Devils trailed 8-7 after three before scoring two straight and taking a 9-8 lead on a Christian Guilford goal.  Jack Schultz’s 51st of the year tied the game and after Westfield couldn’t convert in the closing seconds, overtime decided this elite matchup.  Coyle scored in a man up situation thanks to a beautiful pump fake followed by a missile that scorched the net.  Westfield will face Eastern for the Group 4 state championship on Saturday.
