Clifton 5 Passaic Tech 4 (8 Innings)
Clifton might have been down but the Mustangs were certainly never out Wednesday afternoon in Wayne. Clifton (6-2) secured the series sweep of Passaic Tech (6-3) thanks to a late rally and comeback win in extra innings. Vinny Civitella scored the go-ahead run in the eighth inning to put the Mustangs in front for good. Passaic Tech ace Nazier Mule, a junior Miami commit, was dominant and struck out 13 batters across 5.2 IP in a no-decision.

Cherokee 9 Eastern 2
The Chiefs pulled away late to hand the Vikings their first loss in a key Olympic Conference clash. Old Dominion commit Blake Morgan threw five innings to earn the win on the mound, and added three RBIs at the plate. Jason Schooley and Zach Weiner also drove in runs for Cherokee (8-1). Logan Cudeyro had an RBI single for Eastern (7-1) in the loss.
