Immaculata 3 Ridge 0 | Somerset County Tournament Final
What looked like a doomed start turned into a magical night for the Spartans as they battled off a slow start to win their 15th Somerset County Tournament championship. Jackson Trego pitched six scoreless innings with six punch outs before handing it over to Cole Raymond to combine for an impressive shutout win for Immaculata (15-7). Ridge (16-5) ace Aiden Stieglitz struck out eight straight batters and was perfect through three innings before the Spartans jumped on him with a three-spot in the fourth inning, highlighted by Colin Kassai’s two-run double off the wall in right field.
