Scotch Plains-Fanwood 4 Johnson 0 – Union County Tournament Final
Patrick Cuccurullo knew that his Scotch Plains-Fanwood Raiders were in great shape after knocking off the reigning champions, Governor Livingston, in the semifinal round. It was the senior pulled through in the championship game with 5 and 2/3 innings of scoreless ball to lead Scotch Plains-Fanwood to its fifth overall Union County title, and the first since 2009.
