We’ve got two more great baseball games during the county tournament season.  Check out Ranney/RBC in the Monmouth County final along with a GMC showdown between Edison and New Brunswick in the quarterfinals

Ranney 6 Red Bank Catholic 5 | Monmouth County Tournament Final

Ryan Costello’s RBI single to right field in the seventh inning capped off a two-run rally and Ranney’s first-ever Monmouth County Tournament title. RBC scored two runs in the top of the seventh to take a 5-4 lead after a Shane Andrus RBI double and a Matt Brunner RBI single.  Ranney responded with AJ Gracia smashing a double to the gap in right-center to set the stage for Costello’s walk-off heroics.  Ranney (20-1) is on a 14-game win streak and is ranked #1 in the latest state poll.
