The Chiefs take care of business against a shorthanded Renegades lineup in a clean sweep of its district rivals. Cherokee racked up the bonus points in the dual as Lucas Lapinski (106), Brady Bimmer (126), Nick Aromando (132), Evan Brown (160), John Hunter (195), and Aidan Geisenheimer (285) all won by fall. Shawnee rested a few of its key wrestlers in advance of the start of the NJSIAA Region Tournament in less than two weeks.

St. Thomas Aquinas 41 St. Joseph Met. 34
A match filled with excitement closed on a five bout win streak for the Trojans to take down the Falcons after being down by 16! Kenny Coghan, Steven Coghan, and Kendall Jordan pinned for Aquinas while Connor Doherty earned a tech. Brian Christie, Gianni Principato, Giovanni Alejandro and Anthony Bistany won by pin for St Joseph’s.
