Four of the top 10 teams in New Jersey are in action to headline a monster Wednesday slate. Top-five nationally ranked Delbarton has to grind out a win over Summit while Don Bosco Prep reaffirms their dominant place in Bergen County with a win over Ridgewood. Delbarton 9 Summit 5 | Boys
This showdown between a top-five nationally ranked squad and the No. 1 ranked public team in the country did not disappoint. Delbarton (6-1) erased a three-goal deficit by scoring seven unanswered goals in the second half to battle past Summit (5-1) in a huge game. Sophomore FOGO Kane Quenault sparked the Green Wave’s rally by coming off the bench after the break and winning eight of nine face-offs to turn the tide. Gavin Romweber produced five points (three goals, two assists) to lead the offensive charge. The Hilltoppers had five different players score five consecutive goals to build a 5-2 halftime lead, before suffering the loss.

Don Bosco Prep 10 Ridgewood 3 | Boys
Johnny Devir and Brady Scioletti each scored hat tricks to lead a dominating effort on Wednesday night. After AJ Losauro gave Ridgewood an early 1-0 lead, Don Bosco prep rattled off nine straight goals. Scioletti, who’s committed to Duke and was named a New Balance All-American now has 23 goals in the Ironmen’s first eight games. Don Bosco Prep is 5-3 with a perfect 5-0 mark against New Jersey schools.
