Summit 10 Chatham 6 | Girls

No. 1 Summit (3-1) defended their crown as the best team in New Jersey with a close 10-6 victory over No. 13 Chatham (3-1). The Hilltoppers pushed the lead to 6-1 midway through the second period when three unanswered goals from Chatham would eventually cut the game to 7-4 entering halftime. Two more scores from Chatham in the second half would see them trailing 8-6 to begin the fourth, but Summit controlling the clock late added a pair of goals to keep the game out of reach. Georgetown commit Molly Davies led the way with four goals while Yale commit Nell Ducey ended her afternoon with three scores for The Hilltoppers.
