Manasquan 45 CBA 35 | Boys | Shore Conference Tournament Pod “A” Semifinal

Manasquan officially punched their ticket back to the Shore Conference Tournament championship game Wednesday after taking down fourth-seeded CBA in the Pod A semifinals. Ben Roy led all scorers with 16 points and propelled the Warriors in front for good with a 7-0 run to open the fourth quarter. Jack Collins netted 12 points in the win, as well. Manasquan – the reigning Shore Conference champions – will face Marlboro in the final on Friday.

Marlboro 71 Ranney 65 | Boys | Shore Conference Tournament Pod “A” Semifinal

Jon Spatola had 25 points and Jack Seidler added 20 points to give Marlboro its second ever trip to the Shore Conference championship game and a matchup with #1 seed Manasquan. In 2017, Marlboro stunned Ranney to reach its first ever SCT title game. Four years later, the Mustangs wiped out a six point halftime deficit with a 22-9 third quarter and a 9-0 run early in the fourth to upset the #8 team in the latest state polls. St. Thomas Aquinas 90 South Brunswick 59 | Boys | GMC Karl-Anthony Towns/Jay Williams Semifinal

St. Thomas Aquinas (9-4) defeated South Brunswick 10-3) 90-59 to advance to the GMC Karl-Anthony Towns/Jay Williams Pod finals. The Trojans pushed the tempo in the first two quarters to go ahead 49-28 lead at halftime. Kyree Henry finished with 16 points, Tristian Jeffries had 19, and Josh Rivera ended the evening with 24 points. They will take on Colonia in the final on Friday 3/6 at home.

Wildwood 60 Timber Creek 56 | Boys | Tri-County Conference Tournament Pod “A’ Semifinal

Diante Miles took over in the final minute for Wildwood, sending the Warriors past the Chargers and into the TCC Tournament Pod A final. Miles finished with a game-high 23 points. Omarian McNeal added 19 points and 12 rebounds for Wildwood (13-1), while Seamus Fynes chipped in with 12 points. Austin Green and Ahmaad Roberts each scored 14 points for Creek (12-2) in the loss.

Overbrook 67 Deptford 62 | Boys | Tri-County Conference Tournament Pod “A” Semifinal

The Rams survived a furious fourth quarter comeback from the Spartans to advance to the TCC Pod “A” Final. Damian Rawls scored a game-high 24 points to lead Overbrook (13-1) in the upset over previously unbeaten Deptford (12-1) and surpassed 1,000 career points in the second quarter. Josh Eli and Kevin Eli combined for 35 points in the loss.
