We reach the middle of this week’s schedule and have highlights from a pair of games! Hillsborough battled through the fog (yes, fog) to rally over Hopewell Valley and Gloucester Catholic won an emotional game to honor their beloved, former coach. Hillsborough 5 Hopewell Valley 3 | Non-Conference

The Raiders orchestrated a spirited rally, scoring four unanswered goals to blow by the Bulldogs in an exciting game played amidst foggy and clammy conditions. Nate Bienstock had two goals and two assists while Jeremy Wachnachter scored the game-winner to propel Hillsborough (2-0) to a victory. Evan Jacob had a pair of goals for Hopewell Valley (2-1) in the loss.

Gloucester Catholic 3 St. Peter’s Prep 2 | Gordon Conference

Declan Morris had two goals and an assist including the game-winner to give Gloucester Catholic its first win since February 27, 2023.  Morris broke a 2-2 tie taking a feed from Chad Niedermann to score at the 5:05 mark.  Freshman goalie Chase Pastor was excellent in net with 28 saves with Mike Joyce giving GC a 2-1 lead in the second period.  Filip Hidas and Grant Fischer scored in a losing effort for St. Peter’s Prep.
