JSZ heads back to the ice for a trio of great matchups from the Wednesday slate. Gloucester Catholic and St. Peter’s Prep collide in Gordon Conference action, defending state champ Westfield takes on McInnis Division rival Livingston, plus Bridgewater-Raritan squares off with Robbinsville-Allentown. Stay tuned as the highlights are posted throughout the night!

Bridgewater-Raritan 2 Robbinsville-Allentown 1 (OT)

Despite being outshot 35–23 in regulation, the game remained deadlocked at 1–1 through 45 minutes. Bridgewater-Raritan (2–1) sophomore goaltender Justin Madison was outstanding, turning aside 35 of 36 shots to keep the Panthers in it. But captain Alex Kotelnikov eventually broke through, burying his second goal of the night to lift B-R to a hard-fought win over Robbinsville-Allentown (2–1). A five-minute major assessed to R-A late in the third period gave B-R a power play heading into overtime, and the Panthers made it count with a perfectly executed man-advantage to seal the victory.

Westfield 6 Livingston 1

The defending Public Group champions took control of this game from inside the first minute and never looked back. Five different skaters scored goals for Westfield (2-0), but the majority of that production came from a two-goal night courtesy of junior Liam Reed. Troy Conover made 24 saves in the win. Livingston (2-1) got their lone goal late in the third period.
