Monroe 2 Wall 2 (2OT) | Girls
A pair of teams near the top of their respective conferences with identical records clashed Wednesday and brought out the fireworks. Wall (8-1-1) scored a pair of goals in the second half to take a 2-1 lead before Julia Artz scored the game-tying goal for Monroe (8-1-1) in the final seconds of regulation to force overtime. Both keepers played well in the two 10-minute periods forcing a draw.

St. John Vianney Red Bank Regional 1 | Girls
After falling behind 1-0 early, the Lancers erupted for five unanswered goals. Freshman Kennedy Wallace had a pair and senior Madeline Marretta had a hat trick in the victory. SJV is unbeaten in its last five matches and improves to 7-2-1 on the season.

Toms River North 1 Central Regional 0 | Boys
Josh Brazier’s blast in the 48th minute held up as the Mariners completed a sweep of division play and clinched the outright “A” South title in the Shore Conference for a second straight year. Gavin Stryker and Alex Roman teamed up to pick up the clean sheet in net for Toms River North (7-3-1). The Mariners have now clinched at least a share of the division title five years in a row.
