Christian Brothers Academy 3 Don Bosco 1

Zach Wagnon’s power-play blast with 4:28 left in the third period broke a 1-1 tie and the senior sealed the victory with an empty netter to give the undefeated Colts (7-0-3) a regular-season Ironmen. Bergen Catholic 5 Seton Hall Prep 2

The Crusaders have been looking for a marquis win all season long and finally found it after the calendar turned over to 2022. Five different players scored for Bergen Catholic (3-2-1) as the Crusaders won their second game against Gordon Conference competition this season. Seton Hall Prep (7-5-1) scored a pair of goals in the third period, but it wasn’t enough.

Westfield 3 St. John Vianney 1

Westfield (7-2) picked up a fourth straight win following a 3-1 comeback victory over St. John Vianney (5-1-1). The ninth ranked Lancers got ahead early on a goal from Mike Reed to lead 1-0 after the first period. In the second, Westfield answered back with a pair of goals from Liam Hiltwein to go ahead 2-1 entering the third. Alex Ebel’s score to begin the final period would be the finishing touches as the number 12 Blue Devils handed SJV their first loss of the year. JSZ’s Nery Rodriguez has the highlights:
