We’ve got two great games on the ice from Wednesday. CBA and Princeton Day put up a crooked number in a Gordon Conference shootout and Manalapan and RBC are in the spotlight in this week’s ACI Medical&Dental School Game of the Week. Watch all the action!
CBA 9 Princeton Day 6
Nick Desiderio had three goals and two assists to lead a CBA offensive explosion and a regular season split with a Princeton Day squad that handed the Colts one of its two losses on the year. Anthony Brereton scored the first two goals of the game to give CBA (13-2) a quick lead. After Desiderio scored his first goal of the night, Princeton Day (5-4-1) would score three straight goals to tie the game 3-3. The Colts took over the rest of the second period with four straight goals including two more from Desiderio. Dominic Szczygiel scored his 100th career point on an assist and added an empty net goal.

Manalapan 4 Red Bank Catholic 1
Christian Esposito had 28 saves and Thomas Lena had a goal and an assist to give the Braves its third straight win and a 3-1-3 mark over its last seven games. Zach Sturm and Joseph Moench scored first period goals for Manalapan to stake a 2-0 lead. Lena lit the lamp in the second and Sam Gankin closed out the scoring. Luke Crooker scored on the power play for RBC’s lone goal.
