St. Augustine 10 Seton Hall Prep 8 | Boys
The top-ranked Hermits used a four-goal surge to seize control in the third, but had to fend off a late rally to secure a top-five win against the fourth-ranked Pirates. Amherst commit Mason Raucci led the way with a hat trick, while Penn State commit Ryan Wodazak and St. John’s commit Sebastian Varallo netted a pair of goals in the victory. Richmond commit Kyle Helphenstine had ten saves for St. Augustine (11-2), which snapped a three-game losing streak to SHP. Georgetown commit Jack Merklinger finished with a hat trick in the loss for Seton Hall Prep (5-7).

Bergen Catholic 18 Northern Highlands 8 | Boys | Bergen County Tournament Quarterfinal
N.J. No. 17/No. 3 seed Bergen Catholic lacrosse is Bergen County semifinal bound for the fourth straight year as the Crusaders defeated No. 6 seed Northern Highlands 18-8 on Tuesday afternoon. The Bergen offense was on fire all game long, notably on a stretch between the 2nd and 3rd quarters where they score six goals in a row. BC also outscored the Highlanders 12-4 from th 2nd quarter on after their lead was cut to 6-4 midway through the frame. Four different Bergen Catholic players scored three or more goals on the day. Sophomore Jack Gonzalez led with five, Troy Taromina had four, and Joe Angeli and Easton Tedesco each had three.
The Crusaders now visit arch rivals N.J. No. 6/No. 2 seed Don Bosco Prep in Thursday’s tournament semifinals. The winner will face either N.J. No. 7/No. 1 seed Ridgewood or No. 5 seed St. Joe’s (Mont.) in the county final on Saturday.
