We’re now in the thick of the lacrosse state playoffs and Jersey Sports Zone has action from both the boys’ and girls’ bracket as the season quickly comes to a close. Check out all the highlights below!

(1) Seton Hall Prep 10 (9) Pope John 2 – Boys – Non-Public A Quarterfinals

Although they might have been plagued by a slow start, Seton Hall Prep was all business in the second half as they scored nine unanswered goals to take down Pope John in the sectional quarterfinals. Four Prep players scored at least two goals in the win. JSZ’s Jay Cook has the highlights from West Orange:

(2) Camden Catholic 9 (3) Middle Twp. 8 – Girls – South Group 2 Semifinal

The Irish rallied from three goals down in the second half to punch a ticket back to a sectional final. Brynn Eilbacher scored the game-winner with 20 seconds left. Eilbacher finished with two goals on the day, with Kate Walsh leading the way for Camden Catholic with four goals. La Salle commit Kira Sides led the Panthers with four goals in the loss. (1) Manasquan 10 (5) Cinnaminson 8 – Girls – Central Group 2 Semifinal

The #1 Manasquan Warriors advanced to the Central Group 2 Final on Tuesday afternoon, defeating Cinnaminson 10-8. The Warriors went into the second half fired up, scoring seven goals. Ohio State commit, Janie Cowley, scored the game-high with four goals. High Point commit, Jenna Harms, put in the second highest with three goals. Manasquan will play in the Central Jersey Group 2 sectional final on Friday. JSZ’s Madison Bess has the highlights from Manasquan:

(1) Princeton 21 (4) Howell 4 – Girls – Central Group 4 Semifinal

No. 16 in the NJ Top 20, Princeton advanced to its second consecutive Central Group 4 Final with a win over Howell. The Tigers wasted no time taking a lead thanks to Kathryn DeMilt who landed a hat trick with 13 minutes remaining in the first half to give Princeton a 7-1 lead. DeMilt would finish with six goals total on the day while Marianna Lopez-Ona and Eva Petrone both had four. Reigning sectional champs Princeton advances to take on second-seeded Rancocas Valley in the final on 5/24. JSZ’s Nery Rodriguez has the highlights:
