The baseball season rolls on as JSZ brings you a wild finish between Allentown and Notre Dame, plus play-in round action from the Joe Hartmann Diamond Classic!

Notre Dame 5 Allentown 4

Notre Dame scored four runs in the bottom of seventh to defeat Allentown 5-4. The Irish fell behind 2-1 after the first inning and the game remained at that score until the sixth when a home run from Rutgers commit Jack Sweeney and an RBI double from Antonio Dominici put the Red Birds ahead 4-1. Notre Dame down to its last two outs would load the bases and score on two walks and a controversial balk to tie the game at 4-4. After an intentional walk to load the bases, Justin Prekop’s RBI single would lead ND to victory.
