Donovan Catholic 6 Southern 4 | Ocean County Tournament Final
Jake Marciano finished with 16 strikeouts and pitched a complete game to help lead the Griffins to the first OCT title in program history. Tyler Levine, John Busco and Gavin Degnan all drove in runs in the victory for Donovan (20-2). Dom Miranda hit a home run and drove in all four runs for the Rams (13-6) in the loss.

Passaic Tech 2 DePaul Catholic 0 | Passaic County Tournament Final
Johnny Gilligan and Mirquis Erazo combined to throw seven shutout innings as the Bulldogs blanked the Spartans to win their second straight county championship. Erazo – who got shelled with four runs in a loss to DePaul back on May 1 – got his revenge by getting out of a bases loaded jam in the sixth inning, en route to a four-out save. Gilligan, meanwhile, was throwing a no-hitter into the fifth inning. Second-seeded Passaic Tech (19-3) got to work immediately in the first inning when leadoff hitter Ray Gelok hit a first-pitch solo home run. Riquelby Madera smacked a solo home run in the second inning. Top-seeded DePaul Catholic (15-7) has a young, talented team and they will be a mainstay in Passaic County for years to come.
