No. 17 Shawnee 11 Cherry Hill East 2 – South Jersey Group 4 First Round

Julie Cassidy and Lauren Jobes each scored three goals for the Renegades, as Jobes reached 100 career goals in the victory. Sami MacDonald scored a pair of goals and dished out four assists. Holmdel 14 Parsippany Hills 5 – North 2 Group 2 First Round

Sophomore Jules Brown led the scoring attack with four goals and three assists and the Holmdel senior trio of Kinsey Clark, Erin Mendini and Sam DiMaio reached a collective 500 goals in a dominating first round effort. The Hornets are through to the sectional quarterfinals and a matchup with 3rd seed Bernards. JSZ’s Rich Chrampanis has the highlights from Holmdel High:

Montgomery 15 South Brunswick 5 – North 2 Group 4 First Round

Sophomore Maddie Csontos has been a threat for Montgomery all season, but the sophomore has really found a groove heading into the state playoffs. Her five-goal game Tuesday against South Brunswick in the North 2 Group 4 opening round gives her three-straight games with at least five goals. The Cougars advance and will play top-seeded Bridgewater-Raritan on May 17. JSZ’s Jay Cook has the highlights:
