Delbarton and Chatham delivered an instant classic in the Morris County Tournament title game, St. Joseph Metuchen seeks back-t0-back GMC championships, plus Kingsway puts its undefeated record to the test in a top-15 battle with Shawnee. Delbarton 13 Chatham 12 | Boys | Morris County Tournament Final

The top-ten nationally ranked Green Wave rolled with the punches Tuesday night as they took out a talented Cougars’ squad for their third-straight county title. Chase Houser had four goals while Peter Falk had three more to lead the way for Delbarton (14-2) in the win. Overall, this is Delbarton’s 21st Morris County championship. Nick Lagunowich (five goals) and Shep Boyd (three goals) were the catalysts for Chatham (12-3) in the loss. The Cougars rallied to make it a one-goal game in the final 15 seconds of regulation.

St. Joseph (Metuchen) 11 East Brunswick 0 | Boys | GMC Tournament Final

Nick Hengerer had four goals and an assist and goalie Nick Zaneto had a seven save shutout to give the Falcons a second straight GMC title. Zach MacDougall added two goals and two assists with Kenny Noonan scoring a pair. St. Joe’s (15-3) is on an eight game win streak.

Kingsway 12 Shawnee 8 | Boys

The thirteenth-ranked Dragons remain the last undefeated team in New Jersey after rattling off five unanswered goals in the fourth to take down the fourth-ranked Renegades. Ursinus commit Keegan Borkowski scored twice in the final frame and finished with a hat trick in the victory. Owen Dougherty and Patrick Civitarese each netted a pair of goals in the win for Kingsway (15-0). Iona commit Cale Stielau collected a hat trick in the loss for Shawnee (11-3).
