Summit 12 Montclair 3 | Boys
Michael Bonomo’s career-best five goal performance was the driving factor in Summit’s (4-0) continued hot start. Bonomo fed off of a talented offense that dished the ball on point nearly all game long. Luke DiNola finished with four points (1 G, 3 A) to help round out the day. Will O’Connell also shined in net with 10 saves. Montclair (1-3) has played a tough schedule to start but looks for a rebound Saturday against Chatham.

Christian Brothers Academy 15 Shawnee 5 | Boys
CBA raced out to an 8-0 after the first period and never looked back. Mike DeRosa scored three goals in the first half and finished the game with four, while Gerald Clark, Brenden Donnelly and Sean Tennyson all scored two goals apiece before intermission for the Colts (3-1). Shawnee dropped to (0-3).

Trinity Hall 15 Red Bank Catholic 5 | Girls
Haven Dora had 5 goals and 2 assists to lead the Monarchs to a fourth straight win to open the season. Trinity Hall busted open a 6-3 lead with three straight goals in the final 3:16 of the first half to take a 9-3 advantage at the intermission. CC Webber added four goals in the win. The Monarchs are ranked 20th in the latest state poll and have their sights set on a 1 vs. 2 Shore showdown with top-5 ranked Rumson-Fair Haven on May 13th.
