Westfield 11 Pingry 10 | 2 OT | Boys
Westfield picked up their fourth straight win of the season following an 11-10 victory over Pingry for the annual Bristol Cup. Westfield went ahead 4-0 after the first, but Pingry would take a 5-4 lead at halftime. Trailing 10-9 late in the fourth, Cornell commit Ryan Waldman scored with three seconds left for the Blue Devils to send the game to overtime. Anthony Buoscio’s golden goal in the second overtime helped bring home Westfield’s eighth straight Bristol Cup. Ryan Waldman and Cody Lam both finished with four goals, Rutgers commit Ryan Palmer along with Duke bound Luke Engelke both ended the evening with three goals. Mountain Lakes 9 Chatham 3
A rematch of last year’s Morris County Tournament final ended in the same result. Caz Kotsen’s four goal game highlighted another impressive outing from Mountain Lakes (5-0). Cade Schuckman also tallied a hat trick in the victory for the Lakers. JP Lagunowich scored a pair of goals for Chatham (1-3) in the loss.
