Paul VI 81 Don Bosco 69 | Boys

NJIT commit Wisler Sanon hit his first eight three-point attempts, en route to a game-high 30 points as the Eagles soared past the Ironmen. Jalen Boyd-Savage and Jaden Arline added 14 points each for PVI (11-3) in the victory. Akil Watson dropped a team-high 26 points for Bosco (6-6) in the loss.

Watchung Hills 46 Hunterdon Central 43 | Boys | Skyland Conference Tournament Blue Division Quarterfinal

Hunterdon Central got the best of Watchung Hills in their two previous meetings this year, but with the season on the line it was the Warriors who came out on top. Brian Hopwood’s game-high 15 points, paired with Chad Martini’s 12-point, 12-rebound double-double, proved to be the difference this time around. Watchung Hills will advance to face top-seed Gill St. Bernard’s later in the week.

St. John Vianney 85 Jackson Memorial 58 | Girls | SCT Pod “A” Quarterfinal

Madison St. Rose scored her 1,000th career point on the first basket of the game and the Lancers opened the game on a 21-3 run to cruise to the Shore Conference’s Pod “A” Semifinal and a matchup with #4 seed Manasquan. Trinity Hall 70 Matawan 21 | Girls | SCT Pod “C” Quarterfinal

Freshman Nina Emnace had 16 points and six steals to pace the Monarchs to a win in the Shore Conference Tournament’s “C” Pod. Haven Dora and Siobahn Stapleton both scored 11 points to help Trinity Hall reach 6-6 on the season and earn a matchup with Middletown North in the Pod C semifinals. University 55 East Orange 30 | Girls

Second time around and the result remains the same. The Phoenix once again handedly beat the Lady Jags of East Orange. Nine girls scored at least two points for University as they were lead by Tara Johnson who finished with 12 points and 12 rebounds. Triniti Haskins had 13 for East Orange in the loss.
