A busy Tuesday on the ice features showdowns between four of top-five teams in the Garden State. Stay tuned throughout the night as the highlights are posted!

Don Bosco Prep 3 St. Augustine 1

The Ironmen scored a big road win and a measure of revenge against the Hermits in a rematch of last season’s Non-Public state semifinal. Western Michigan commit Ferry Netusil’s third goal of the season proved to be the difference in this matchup between the top-two ranked teams in New Jersey. Holy Cross commit Dean Toskos netted a pair of goals in the win for Don Bosco Prep (5-1). Ty Simonet scored his first goal of the season in the loss for St. Augustine (2-1).

Delbarton 5 Princeton Day 2

No. 4 Delbarton (4-1) has won four of their first five games to begin the 2023-2024 season. The Green Wave defeated No. 3 Princeton Day (3-2) for a second time despite the Panthers coming off an upset win over No. 2 Don Bosco. Jack Gerne netted two short handed goals for Delbarton in the closing minute of the first period and 21 seconds into the second. Dante Rodriguez, Egor Andreev and Aidan Pasic also added scores.

Bridgewater-Raritan 5 Verona-Glen Ridge 1 | Essex Holiday Tournament

The Panthers are one of the great stories so far this season – and they keep getting better. Bridgewater-Raritan (4-0) is the lone undefeated team in the Skyland Conference through the first two weeks of the season and added another win in an out-of-conference matchup. Alex Kotelnikov scored a pair of goals and Mattias Dorey, Dylan Churpakovich and Tair Gafiatullin each scored goals in the win. Churpakovich’s power play goal in the third was the highlight of the night.

Chatham 8 Oratory Prep 3 | Essex Holiday Tournament

The Cougars came through with their most productive outing of the season as they begin their holiday tournament action. A three-goal game from Charlie Dunn and a five-point performance from Matt Nacinovich aided Chatham (3-2) to their third straight win of the year. Oratory Prep (1-4) got a two-goal game out of forward Sebastian Leach in the loss.
