Clifton 6 Kearney 3 | Boys

Clifton extended its unbeaten streak to 33 games Tuesday in an offensive explosion to top Hudson County power, Kearney. The Mustangs saw six different players score goals, five of which came in the first half alone. The Mustangs, widely considered New Jersey’s top team, improve to an impressive 11-0 in the win.

Monroe 3 Old Bridge 2 | Girls

After falling to Old Bridge (4-2-1) earlier in the year, Monroe (6-4) avenged the loss with a thrilling 3-2 victory. Bridgette Bussiere having already scored a game tying goal for Monroe to begin the second half, found net in 79’ to defeat the Knights for the first time in five seasons. St. Augustine 3 Ocean City 0 | Boys

Aidan Davis scored a hat trick as the Hermits dominated possession from the opening whistle against the Red Raiders. Luke Salmon, Sal Curcuru and Ethan Torpey all had assists for St. Augustine (8-1-1), which handed Ocean City its first loss of the season.

CBA 2 Middletown South 0 | Boys

Shane Borenius scored on a header off a corner kick in the first half and Dylan Cupo delivered his fifth goal of the season in the second as the Colts post their third straight shutout to reach 8-0. JSZ’s Rich Chrampanis has the Shore Conference highlights:


Toms River North 6 Brick Township 0 | Boys

After handing Southern its first loss of the season, the Dragons went after another upset victory. A scoreless first half gave Brick hope but the Mariners came out attacking in the second half and scored four goals in the opening 10 minutes. Jack Montanile netted two goals for the Mariners in the win.
