Rutgers Prep 62 Montgomery 48 | Boys

No. 7 Rutgers Prep (12-5) bounced back from a loss to St. Peter’s Prep with a 62-48 win over No. 15 Montgomery (14-2). Prep trailed 12-6 after the first quarter and would go down by as many as 13 in the second, but cut the lead to 27-26 at halftime. Junior Myles Parker with a big third quarter would put the Argonauts ahead 52-35 entering the fourth. Parker led all scorers with 16 points while freshman Jacob Canton finished with 15 points.

Montclair Immaculate 70 East Orange 53 | Boys

The Lions fended off a late charge from the Jaguars to pick up their third-straight win and stay unbeaten in the SEC American Division. Jaren Barnett led a balanced attack with a game-high 18 points in the victory. Vasaun Harper poured in 17 points, while Myles Blackley added 14 points for Montclair Immaculate (13-6). Kaiyri Barkley scored a team-high ten points in the loss for East Orange (14-4).
