The winter storms are over, and JSZ is back on Tuesday with three must-see hockey games. Delbarton and St. Joe’s Montvale clash in a battle of two of NJ’s best, RBC and Middletown South clash in the Shore Conference, while St. Augustine plays host to The Hun School of Princeton. Don’t miss the action from all the matchups!
Delbarton 2 St. Joe’s-Montvale 1 | Gordon Conference
It’s the third time in this high school boys hockey that New Jersey has had a No. 1 vs. No. 2 matchup and, as expected, it came down to the end. A last second Paul Insauto save handed Delbarton the 2-1 win over St. Joe’s (Mont.) on Tuesday to retain their standing as the top team in the Garden State.
The Green Wave was down 1-0 in the first, but two unanswered goals from Sean O’Gwen and Egor Andreev in the 2nd and 3rd put them ahead. They are now 10-1-3 on the year while St. Joe’s falls to 10-3-1.
