Rutgers Prep 63 Hillsborough 53 | Boys

No. 7 Rutgers Prep defeated Hillsborough 63-53 to capture a fourth straight victory. Hillsborough led 18-16 after the first quarter, but Prep jumped in front 32-30 at halftime. In the second half the Argonauts would begin to pull away and extended their lead to 10 in the fourth quarter. Freshman Jacob Canton led all scorers.

Paul VI 40 Cherry Hill West 38 | Boys

Torren Greene scored the go-ahead bucket with under a minute remaining, and then the Eagles clamped down on defense to hold off the Lions. Greene lead a balanced attack with 11 points for PVI (12-4). Quinn Gibson scored 13 points, while Ben Manns added 12 points for West (12-2) in the loss.

Donovan Catholic 71 Monmouth Regional 64 (OT) | Boys

Ryan Jacobs scored 21 of his 23 points in the second half and Jack Malek was a perfect 8-8 from the free throw line in overtime to give the  Griffins (11-3) a fourth straight win.  The Falcons were led by Ahmir Wiggins who had a game high 27 points and gave Monmouth a 50-48 lead before Jacobs came back to tie the game 50-50.  Donovan Catholic had a chance to win it but Jacobs drive to beat the buzzer did not fall.  The pace in overtime was frantic.  Matt Gerrity put the Griffins in front 53-50 dropping a three-pointer after Donovan quickly won the tip.  Donovan Catholic scored 15 points in the first half and turned around and scored 21 points in the final four minutes.
