Will Bradley’s three-pointer in overtime gave the Colts the lead for good on the way to an 8-2 margin in the extra four minutes and a championship at Red Bank Regional’s Albert E. Martin Buc Classic. Ranney held a 47-46 lead in the final 30 seconds and created a turnover that saw the Panthers get two chances to increase its lead to three but Bradley grabbed the rebound off a missed dunk and went the length of the floor to draw a foul with 3.4 seconds left. After sinking the first free throw, Bradley missed the go-ahead shot resulting in overtime in Little Silver. Bradley led the Colts with 18 and Pat Lautato had 17 earning tournament MVP honors. Marlboro 61 Red Bank Catholic 58 | Boys | WOBM Christmas Classic Final
The Mustangs made a bit of history in Toms River on Thursday, topping the Caseys to win the WOBM Christmas Classic for the first time in program history. Jon Spatola led the way for the Mustangs with a game-high 20 points and was named Tournament MVP. Zack Molod, 19 points, and Jack Seidler, 17 points, each finished in double-figures in the win for Marlboro (6-0). Cyril Arvanitis and Zach Meeks each had a team-high 14 points in the loss for RBC (5-1).
