Week Two kicks off with a handful of games across the state, and JSZ has action from three of them as we warm up for Friday night!
Rahway 43 Perth Amboy 8 | Big Central Conference
Andrew Avent had three touchdown runs (29, 54, 20) and Ziare Fields added a 52-yard touchdown catch and a 57-yard TD run to give Rahway (2-1) its seconds straight win of the season.
JSZ’s Nick Doll has the highlights:

Jersey Sports Zone’s coverage of Rahway is brought to you by Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital in Rahway.
West Deptford 48 Collingswood 0 | West Jersey Football League
Both teams entered undefeated, but the Eagles asserted their dominance early and often. Brady Cobb threw three touchdown passes in the first half, as West Deptford (3-0) put the Panthers (2-1) away by halftime. Cole Paskiewicz found the end zone twice, while Zamir Davis added a pair of scores as well.
JSZ’s Mike Frankel has the highlights:
Weequahic 52 Lincoln 0 | Super Football Conference
The Indians shutout the Lions for the second straight season in an all-around impressive performance. Weequahic (2-1) took the opening kickoff back for a touchdown and then proceeded to go up 38-0 in the first half before the running clock set in. The Indians return home next week to host a hot Immaculata squad while Lincoln (0-2) will search for their first points of the season next weekend on the road at Orange.
JSZ’s Sean Dugan has the highlights from Caven Point:
