It’s officially the end of the road for the Non-Public lacrosse programs throughout the state as four championship games were held Thursday at Kean University. JSZ has complete coverage from both Non-Public A finals as four powerhouse programs vie for two state titles.
Don Bosco Prep 13 Seton Hall Prep 8 | Non-Public A Final | Boys
A spirited second-half adjustment from the Ironmen yielded the program’s third-ever Non-Public A state championship. Don Bosco Prep (17-3) scored 10 goals over the third and fourth quarters to pull away with the title. Brady Scioletti (six points), John Devir (four goals) and EJ Garvey (two goals) paced the offense while Colton Carfello made 10 saves. Tyler Juhlin led all scorers with five goals in the loss for Seton Hall Prep (15-7).

Oak Knoll 14 Pingry 11 | Non-Public A Final | Girls
Ellie Cusimano broke an 11-11 tie in the fourth quarter and the Royals scored three straight to win a remarkable ninth consecutive state championship. Pingry rallied from 11-7 down late in the third with four straight goals to tie the game heading into the final 12 minutes. Annabelle Mahoney led Big Blue with four goals while Oak Knoll was paced by Carson Didden’s five goals.
