Seton Hall Prep 1 Ridge 0 (Six Innings)
The Pirates emerged from Somerset County with some soaking wet laundry and a thin one-run win over one of the state’s toughest public teams. Seton Hall Prep (15-1) got a five-inning shutout performance from Roman Baldwin in a six-inning weather-shortened game. Michael Bravette’s RBI double was the lone scoring play in this game. Ridge (14-4) got another stellar day on the mound from Aidan Stieglitz, who struck out seven in six innings of work.

Pennington 4 Rutgers Prep 3 | Prep B Quarterfinals
The Red Hawks managed to score three runs off of Seton Hall commit Li Perez and held a 3-0 lead until the fifth inning. The Argonauts tied the game at three, but Landon Hallett managed to steal third and advance home to score the go-ahead, and ultimately the game-winning run. Hallett scored a game-high 2 runs and pitched two scoreless innings with 3 punch-outs. Fourth-seeded Pennington (15-4) takes down fifth-seeded Rutgers Prep (10-5) and will face eighth-seeded rivals Princeton Day in the Prep B semi-finals.

Gloucester 5 Paulsboro 1
Kevin Boulden delivered one of the best performances of his young career to lead the Lions to a season sweep against the Red Raiders. The freshman tossed six strong innings, allowing one run with 13 strikeouts, and added a RBI at the plate in the victory. Gavin Zane drove in an insurance run in the sixth for Gloucester (6-12). Matt Hill tossed a complete game, allowing four runs with ten strikeouts for Paulsboro (3-13).
