Bergen Catholic 15 Ramapo 7 | Bergen County Tournament Quarterfinal

Bergen Catholic (7-5) scored eight unanswered goals from the midway point of the second quarter through the end of the third quarter to blast themselves past Ramapo (7-4) and into the county semifinals. Penn State commit Brendan Kelly led all scorers with five goals and six total points. Seven other Crusaders players scored in the win. Bergen Catholic now advances to face undefeated Don Bosco in the BCT semi’s on Saturday.

Westfield 10 Scotch Plains-Fanwood 5 | Union County Tournament Semifinal

A game of back and forth streaks was conquered by Westfield (8-3). The Blue Devils scored two goals to end the first half up by one, then put up four more in the second half to stretch the lead before Scotch Plains-Fanwood (10-4) could find the back of the net again. Westfield was lead by Aidan McLane who scored four goals and had five points on the afternoon. James Haley and Daniel Cano both had two goals a piece for Westfield. The Blue Devils take on Summit in the Union County Finals in a rematch from earlier this season.

Summit 10 Cranford 1 | Union County Tournament Semifinal

Luke Dinola scored five goals and Michael Bonomo added a hat trick to give coach Jim Davidson his 400th career win. The Hilltoppers coach for the past 23 years becomes the fifth boys lacrosse coach in New Jersey to reach the milestone. Summit (9-0) will face Westfield in the Union County Tournament championship this Saturday night at AL Johnson High. JSZ’s Rich Chrampanis has the highlights and post-game reaction from Clark:
