Hun 5 Allentown 3 | Mercer County Final | Boys

(1) Hun raises a second consecutive Mercer County Championship following a 5-3 win over (6) Allentown. The Raiders went ahead 3-1 at halftime on scores from Dan Cano and Brett Stelmach. The third quarter began with two goals from Allentown’s Sean McCaffery to tie the game at 3-3, Hun would answer back with scores from Dan Cano who finished with three goals and an assist and Brett Stelmach, his second goal of the night put the Raiders ahead 5-3 to end the third. There would be no scoring in the fourth. Jim Stagnitta stepped down as Hun’s Head Coach following the win.

Shawnee 19 Kingsway 5 | Girls

Elle Trzaskawka scored six goals and added three assists to lead the Renegades past the Dragons. The South Florida commit reached 100 career goals and 100 career assists in the game as well. Sacred Heart commit Bella Calvanese, Abby Davidson and Avery Dunbar all added three goals apiece for Shawnee (15-1). Freshman Phoebe O’Rourke scored two goals for Kingsway (7-9) in the loss.
