Plenty of hardware was up for grabs on Thursday as JSZ brings you three great county/conference championship games from around the Garden State!

Cherry Hill West 3 Delsea 1 | Joe Hartmann Diamond Classic Final

South Carolina commit Ryder Garino fired a gem to guide the Lions to their first Diamond Classic championship since 1989. Garino allowed one run over 6 1/3 innings with ten strikeouts to pick up the win on the mound while Isayiah Pierce-Gonzalez shut the door for the save. Alabama signee Jon Young Jr., Leo Orefice, and Grant Fournier all drove in runs for fourth-seeded Cherry Hill West (22-3). Seton Hall commit Frank Cairone tossed six strong innings, allowing three runs with six strikeouts in the loss for sixth-seeded Delsea (20-3).

Delbarton 3 Chatham 0 | Morris County Tournament Final

Aiden Dill was once again masterful in the Morris County Tournament finale as he earned tournament MVP honors for the third straight year. Dill threw six scoreless innings with two hits, no walks and seven strikeouts as second-seeded Delbarton (22-2) won their fifth-straight MCT championship. Christian Zebrowski struck out the side in the bottom of the seventh to preserve the combined shutout. No. 12 seed Chatham (7-10) orchestrated a cinderella run to reach the final as they looked for their first ever county championship. Wes Maksimov thwarted the Green Wave lineup with four scoreless innings and six strikeouts.

JSZ’s Jay Cook has the highlights + reaction from Montville:

Hun 10 Lawrence 2 | Mercer County Tournament Final

The Raiders broke open a 2-2 game with an eight run seventh inning to win the final Mercer County Tournament after 45 years.  Next year the CVC Tournament will replace the MCT with Prep Schools no longer in the field.  Ryan Greenstein threw six strong innings on the mound giving up just one earned run for the Raiders and had a two run triple as part of the seventh inning outburst to earn MVP honors.

JSZ’s Rich Chrampanis has the highlights and post-game reaction from Trenton:
