We’re heading down the home stretch of the girls flag football season, and JSZ brings you a pair of great matchups from the gridiron. Williamstown and Gloucester Tech collide with a spot in the WJFL championship game on the line. Plus, state-ranked teams go to battle in the Super Football Conference as Mount Olive takes on Wayne Valley. Check back as the highlights are posted throughout the night!
Williamstown 24 GCIT 6 | West Jersey Football League Semifinal
Piper Przelomiec delivered an outstanding two-way performance to help guide the Braves past the Cheetahs to reach the WJFL championship game. The freshman hauled in a clutch touchdown with one second remaining in the first half and added two interceptions on defense. Milana Riccardi went for over 200 total yards and three total touchdowns, while Celiyah Waters added a pick-six for second-seeded Williamstown (15-1). Lolo Gittinger secured her 30th receiving touchdown of the season for GCIT (15-4), which stunned defending champion Mastery High School of Camden in the quarterfinal. Williamstown will face Pleasantville for the WJFL championship on Monday at the NovaCare Complex in Philadelphia.

Mount Olive 19 Wayne Valley 6
No. 11 Mount Olive flag football (9-1) ended their regular season on a high note Thursday night with a 19-6 win over fellow ranked SFC squad No. 16 Wayne Valley (8-2). The Marauders started out the scoring on the night with an 11-yard touchdown pass from Diya Rodrigues to Alexa Smith with 10:00 left in the first half. With 1:45 left in the half, Wayne Valley responded as Sabrina King got loose for a 60-yard touchdown run to tie things up at 6 into the second half.
The Marauders then held them scoreless the rest of the way as Mikayla Williams threw an 18-yard touchdown pass to Isabella DeCuba on a trick play in the 3rd quarter and Rodrigues ran for a 7-yard touchdown in the 4th.
