We saw some great action on Thursday in high school lacrosse! Olympic Conference rivals Cherokee and Shawnee go down to the wire in a thrilling girls matchup. Plus, the CVC and Skyland Conference collide in boys lacrosse as Hopewell Valley takes on unbeaten North Hunterdon.

Scranton commit Hayden Toscano converted an eight-meter opportunity with 13 seconds left in regulation as the Chiefs scored its first win over the rival Renegades since 2022. The junior finished with a goal and an assist in the victory. Coastal Carolina commit Abby Ball went for a hat trick, while Kutztown commit Addy Schramm added a pair of goals for 17th-ranked Cherokee (5-1). Gettysburg commit Maddie Goulburn scored her 100th career goal and finished with four goals in the loss for Shawnee (1-3).

Hopewell Valley 15 North Hunterdon 6 | Boys
The seniors shined for Hopewell Valley (4-2) in a convincing win over North Hunterdon (3-1). Ty Becker and Kyle Yadamiec combined for 11 of the Bulldogs’ 15 goals. Yadamiec now has 23 goals and has already surpassed his total from last season through just six games this year, while Becker is up to 14. Hopewell Valley handed North Hunterdon its first loss of the 2026 campaign.
