The Pirates put together a four-run sixth inning to grab a signature victory against the Eagles and extend an eight-game winning streak. East Stroudsburg commit Ryan Manning delivered a clutch 2 RBI single in the sixth in the victory. Cedar Creek (12-1) continues a big week after qualifying for the 50th Joe Hartmann Diamond Classic. Jack Conroy drove in a pair of runs in the loss for EHT (8-4).

The final score isnt indicative of all the talent that took the mound Thursday afternoon in Leonia. Virginia commit Will Kirk outdueled Wake Forest commit Rhys Bowie in a much anticipated non-conference battle. Kirk was masterful – he tallied five innings of no-hit baseball with 12 strikeouts and three walks. Bowie struck out nine batters and allowed three runs in four innings of work. Ramsey (9-4-1) blew the game open in the fifth when they got to the Dwight-Englewood (6-2-1) bullpen. At the plate, Kirk and Luke Monico each jacked home runs.
