JSZ’s cameras were all over the Garden State to bring you a trio of tremendous matchups in high school lacrosse. Check back as the highlights are posted throughout the night!

Chatham 5 Summit 3 | Girls

A marquee mid-week battle between New Jersey’s reigning Group 2 state champion and Group 3 state champion did not disappoint. Chatham (5-0) continues their blazing start to the season after taking down their neighboring rival for the first time since 2019. Richmond commit Grace Hallahan was spectacular – she had a five point day and scored a hat trick in the process. Annie Alden made six saves in the cage and helped anchor an incredible defensive effort. Summit (3-2) leaned on Parker Febo, who scored two of the Hilltoppers’ three goals on Thursday.

Limestone College commit Chase Caulder two goals in the final frame to power the comeback. Eric Morano finished with a hat trick and Wes Canton made ten saves, including one at the buzzer to seal the victory for Moorestown (4-0). Notre Dame 10 Haddonfield 8 | Boys

In what was a tale of two games, Notre Dame (3-2) got out to the early 7-0 lead in the first quarter. Up 8-2 at halftime, Haddonfield (2-1) outscored the Irish in the 2nd half but it was too little too late. Army commit Merritt Long led the way for Notre Dame with 2 goals and 4 assists. Long kicked off the scoring with the first goal of the game and sealed the deal with the final goal of the game. Rutgers commit Emanuel Jastrzebski and sophomore Alex White tallied a hat trick for the Irish. On the flip side, Matt Baglieri led the way for Haddonfield with a game-high 4 goals. Last season Haddonfield handed Notre Dame their loss of the season. This year Notre Dame does the same.
