Paterson Charter 59 Glen Rock 39 | Boys | NJIC Tournament Final

The Lions put together 21-3 run in the second quarter and never looked back as they cruised the the NJIC Tournament championship. Giovanny Figueroa had a big second half and finished with a game-high 20 points in the win. De’Angelo Hibbert chipped in with 15 points, while Ka’Juan Gee finished with ten points for Paterson Charter (19-2). Mason Mangione hit three triples as he scored a team-high 15 points in the loss for Glen Rock (17-7).

Somerville 41 Bernards 40 | Boys | Somerset County Tournament 1st Round

Brenden Pacheco’s offensive rebound and quick release beat the buzzer for a dramatic win for the 13th seed Pioneers.  Logan Marks gave Bernards a 40-39 lead on a banker inside the paint with just seven seconds remaining.  Brady Scheier went the length of the floor and took a shot that was off the mark but Pacheco found the ball and delivered the clutch basket.

Holmdel 61 Manalapan 59 (OT) | Boys | Shore Conference Tournament Round of 16

Nick Seeloch scored all five points for the Hornets in overtime as the Hornets clawed from behind to earn a spot in the Shore Conference Tournament quarterfinals and a matchup with CBA this Saturday in the round of eight.  Seeloch led all scorers with 24 points with James Valillo adding 20 points for the 18-2 Hornets.  Phil Pearlman led the Braves with 19 points.  He tied the game at 56 in the final minute of the fourth quarter.

Timothy Christian 65 Spotswood 56 | Boys | GMC Tournament First Round

(9) Timothy Christian advances to the GMC Tournament Quarterfinals with a 75-56 win over Blue Division rival (8) Spotswood. TCS led 35-25 at halftime thanks to 11 points in the first half from junior Myles Dickerson. The Tigers would extend their deficit past 20 in the fourth quarter as Dickerson led all scorers with 31 points.
