Robbinsville 61 Ewing 57 (OT) | Boys | CVC Tournament Quarterfinal
Exactly one year ago, Robbinsville (15-8) fell to Ewing (16-7) in the CVC semifinal. Nearly two months ago, the Ravens suffered another defeat to the Blue Devils, this time by 15 points. But in the CVC quarterfinal this year, sixth-seeded Robbinsville staged a remarkable comeback. Trailing 50-39 with just 4:30 remaining in the fourth quarter, the Ravens rallied to knock off the third-seeded, reigning CVC champions. Pitt baseball commit Tyler Bunnell was once again spectacular, scoring 28 points for his fifteenth 20-point performance of the season. With the win, Robbinsville punches its ticket to the CVC semifinal, where they will face Trenton.
