James Gibbons had 23 points and 13 rebounds and Ryan Jacobs added 22 points to provide a potent 1-2 punch to lead the Griffins into the semifinals of the Ruhnke Bracket of the WOBM Christmas Classic. Donovan Catholic will face top seed Manasquan on Saturday afternoon looking to reach the finals.

Central Regional 59 Point Pleasant Beach 38 | Boys | WOBM Christmas Classic
Jaycen Santucci scored 20 of his 24 points in the second half and added 10 rebounds to give the Golden Eagles a 3-0 start to the season. Royalty Riley added 10 points and eight boards for Central who will face Colts Neck in the semifinals of the Ruhnke Bracket on Saturday.

Glassboro 49 Ocean City 24 | Girls | Boardwalk Basketball Classic
Tamia Smith powered a second-half surge as the Bulldogs cruised past the Red Raiders in the Putt Palmer Memorial Showcase at the Boardwalk Basketball Classic. Smith scored 11 points in the fourth quarter to finish with a game-high 26 points in the victory. Kezia Brackett went for eight points, while Sianna Wedderburn chipped in with six points for Glassboro (2-3). Lily Murphy scored a team-high six points in the loss for Ocean City (2-2).
