Old Bridge 1 North Brunswick 0 | Greater Middlesex Conference Tournament Semifinal | Boys

It took nearly 70 minutes, but Old Bridge found the breakthrough to punch its ticket to the GMC semifinals. Senior Lucas Dwornikowski rose up to meet an Aadit Sawant cross and tucked a header into the bottom corner in the 68th minute, giving the Knights a 1-0 win over North Brunswick. Old Bridge (12-4-2) has now six straight matches and hasn’t lost since September 16th. The Knights will face the winner of Sayreville and Monroe in the semifinal round. North Brunswick (9-7) saw its county tournament run come to a close despite a strong showing from goalkeeper Alex Andino and the Raiders back line.
