We’ve got major drama at the Shore Conference Tournament as Toms River East and Rumson-Fair Haven battle to the final second and Princeton looks to continue its dominance in Mercer County. Check out the highlights of both games!
Toms River East 2 Rumson-Fair Haven 1 (2OT) | Shore Conference Tournament Second Round
Brady Gillen converted off a corner kick with just three seconds beore penalties to give the 9th seed Raiders a dramatic double overtime win to earn a spot in the SCT quarterfinal. With the clock stopped at 23 seconds, Gillen attempted a long throw in that saw Toms River East earn a corner kick. Vincenzo Nasuta raced to get off the corner kick with under ten seconds to go to set the stage for Gillen to deliver. Aiden Reis scored the first goal of the match to give TRE a 1-0 lead at the half. Charlie Gronau converted off a corner early in the second half to tie the match. Both keepers, Jack Del Priore (RFH) and Matt Moore (TRE) made stellar saves in overtime. Toms River East (13-4) will face top seed CBA in the quarterfinals.

Princeton 2 Lawerence 1 | Boys
Kian Asiaie opened the scoring for the Tigers with his first goal since the season opener, and Chase Hamerschlag capitalized on a corner kick to help lead Princeton (13-1-1) to a major win over Lawrence (9-5-1). With the victory, the Tigers are now co-Colonial Division Champions alongside Notre Dame, the team they tied just a few weeks ago. Princeton has secured a top seed in the upcoming CVC tournament, where they aim to repeat as conference champions and reach their third consecutive final.
