Hudson Catholic 74 St. Peter’s Prep 70 (2OT) | Boys

The Hawks used a dramatic ending in double overtime to snap a five-game losing streak to the Marauders in what will go down as one of the top games of the 2025 season. Hudson Catholic (13-3) got a big performance from senior Keith McKnight, who went for 24 points and 14 rebounds in the win. Omari Moore hit a number of key free throws along the way and chipped in 18 points to the win. Richie Rosa sunk a career-high 31 points in the loss for St. Peter’s Prep (12-3), who played without star junior center Keiner Asprilla.

Red Bank Regional 80 Red Bank Catholic 74 | Boys

Zayier Dean had 19 points in the fourth quarter on the way to a 31 point performance and the Bucs (14-1) completed a regular season sweep of the Caseys.  RBR built an 18 point halftime lead that swelled to 22 early in the third quarter before RBC stormed back.  Sean Saxton was the third quarter catalyst and three pointers from Ryan Saxton and Gavin Biasi cut the deficit to 54-49 at the end of three.  But Dean was able to outgun Ryan Prior in the final eight minutes.  Prior had 18 in the fourth for a total of 25.  Ryan Fisher added 20 for the Bucs.

Holmdel 67 Middletown South 53 | Boys

CJ Karis scored all 16 of his points in the second half and freshman Anthony Serini added 15 to pace the Hornets (8-5) to their fourth win in their last five games.  Holmdel had a three point lead at the half before opening up a nine point lead and the third that swelled to double digits in the final quarter.

Kingsway 54 Timber Creek 53 (OT) | Boys

Dasir Williams-Bey stepped up in a huge moment by knocking down a go-ahead three pointer in the final minute of overtime to give the Dragons their 13th-straight win. Williams-Bey finished with seven points to keep Kingsway (13-1) undefeated against NJ competition. Kai Tolley went off for ten points in the third on his way to a game-high 21 points in the victory. Asa Wharton scored a team-high 15 points, while CJ Atkins added ten points in the loss for Timber Creek (7-6).

Wildwood Catholic 68 Holy Spirit 62 | Girls

The Crusaders built a 22-point lead at halftime, and then held off the Spartans in the second half to earn a key Cape-Atlantic League victory. Anastasia Bowman and Dani Daley scored 15 points apiece, while Lola McGonigle added 14 points to help lead a balanced attack for Catholic (12-3). Sabrina Little poured in a game-high 32 points for Spirit (11-4) in the loss.
